Delete your account
What deletion removes, what it can't reach, and how to keep a copy of your data first.
Updated Jul 30, 2026
Deleting your Fyncora account removes it and the financial data in it. It is immediate and it cannot be undone.
Warning: export first if you want to keep anything. Once deletion runs, we cannot recover your transactions, budgets, goals or history — not on request, not from a backup. See Export your data.
Before you delete
- Export your data if you might want it.
- Cancel Premium if you have it, so you aren't billed again — deleting the account doesn't necessarily settle an active subscription's billing cycle with the payment provider.
- Leave or hand over your household if you share with a partner. Anything you own disappears from their household view when your account goes.
Delete the account
- Open Settings → Privacy.
- Select Delete account.
- Read the confirmation carefully — it lists what's about to be removed.
- Confirm.
You'll be signed out, and the account will no longer exist.
What deletion removes
Your profile, accounts, transactions, budgets, goals, tasks, habits, documents metadata, household membership, connected-AI tokens, and any files Fyncora itself stored for you.
What it can't reach
- Files in your own Google Drive. If you attached receipts, the documents live in your Drive. They're your property and stay there — delete them yourself if you want them gone.
- Records we must keep by law, such as invoices for payments already made.
FAQ
Can I delete just my data and keep the login? Not as one action. Deleting the account removes both; if you want a clean slate instead, delete the individual accounts and transactions.
What happens to my partner's shared data? Nothing — it's theirs. Your household membership ends, and what they shared with you stays with them.
How long does it take? It's immediate, not queued.
