Log habits and keep streaks
One tap records a habit; Fyncora scores each window pass or fail and builds your streak, success rate and trend from that.

Logging is meant to take a second. Everything else — whether a week counted as a success, how long your run is, whether you're improving — is worked out from those entries and your rule.
Log one in a tap
- Open Plan → Habits.
- Find the habit in the Active list.
- Select the + button on its row.
You'll see the habit's figure move — 2 / 3 this week becomes 3 / 3 this week — and its status colour update straight away.
Tip: the + records one unit. For a habit measured in money or minutes, use Log with details instead so you can enter the real amount.
Log an amount, or add a note
- Open Plan → Habits and select the habit's name to open it.
- Select Quick +1 for a single unit, or expand Log with details.
- Enter the Amount — €4.20, 30 minutes, 2 drinks.
- Add a Note (optional) if the context matters.
- Select Log Event.
You'll see the entry at the top of the Event History tab with its amount, note and timestamp.
Warning: a logged entry can't be edited or deleted — there's no undo. Enter the amount you mean, especially on money habits, because a mistyped figure stays in your history and in every success rate computed from it.
How a window is scored
Fyncora scores each window — day, week or month, depending on your rule — as one pass or fail:
- A Stay under habit succeeds when the window's total is at or below your threshold.
- A Do at least habit succeeds when the total reaches it.
Everything on the habit page is built from that verdict, not from individual entries. Logging a habit isn't inherently "good" or "bad": on a Stay under habit, each entry pushes you closer to failing the window.
Streaks, success rate and trend
Open a habit to see its Historical Performance card:
- Success — the share of past windows you passed.
- Streak — consecutive successful windows, counting back from the most recent.
- Best — your longest run of successful windows.
- Avg — average total per window, with an arrow for the direction of travel.
Below it, a grid of recent windows shows each one as Success or Failed, and the Period Details and Chart tabs break the same data down window by window.
Note: a streak counts windows, not days. On a weekly habit, a streak of 4 means four good weeks in a row — so a weekly streak can only ever grow once a week.
The trend compares your last three windows with the three before them, so it needs at least six windows of history before it says anything. Until then it reads as stable.
When a streak breaks
A streak ends the moment a window is scored as failed, and the next successful window starts a new one at 1. Nothing is lost: your Best figure keeps your record, and the window grid keeps the full picture.
Your success rate and streaks are recalculated from your rule, so if you edit the threshold or the window later, past windows are re-scored against the new rule — old history can pass or fail differently than it did before.
Where to see the longer view
Plan → Habits → History shows your logging across habits, and Plan → Habits → Analytics goes deeper on one habit's performance. If a habit is linked to a spending category, its price tag lives on the habit page — see How habit price tags work.
FAQ
Can I log for yesterday? Entries are recorded when you log them, so log on the day where you can. A missed entry can't be back-dated.
Does logging a habit create a transaction? No. Habit entries and money are separate records, even on a habit measured in your currency.
Can I log against a paused habit? No — the log buttons are unavailable while a habit is paused. Resume it from the habit page to start logging again.
Why is my streak still 0 after logging today? On a weekly or monthly habit the current window isn't scored until it ends. The progress figure moves immediately; the streak waits for the verdict.
